Andrea,

Glad you liked it, your comment about monitoring the subject line is a great tip and one I use as well. Thanks for thinking of it!

I also like your suggestion about pairing email with phone calls, that little extra effort to make sure your recipient received your correspondence can make all the difference.

Hi Beth,

Great posting about clarity, especially in relation to email.

Two practices I follow:
a) When an email is going back and forth, I change the subject so it's appropriate to the content. It's frustrating when you cannot find an email because the subject line isn't accurate or your client can't find it for the same reason.

b) When the email is time sensitive or important, pair it with a quick phone call. That way it's read and you get a faster response.

c) For social media, when U send out an invite to connect on FB, LinkedIn, etc., I met that person ans why I would like to connect. I don't assume "they" will remember me, they are busy too!

Thanks for writing this post Beth, it's great reminder for me as my business grows.

Hi Beth

Thank you for sharing your insights into KPI in a very simple, understandable way. I am in the process of writing a book on KPI in a language called Tamil and organising a seminar on KPI. Your perspectives have truly given something usable for me.
